Acceptable use — what we will and won't make
Memoria Gift AI turns photos and a short story into a personalised video using AI. Because the person in the photos usually isn't the one ordering, we ask you to follow these rules. They protect them, you and us.
People you can make a video about
- Someone you know personally and have permission from — your partner, a family member, a friend, a colleague.
- Your own children, or a child you're the parent or legal guardian of.
- Someone who has passed away, when you're family or were close to them and the video is made in their memory.
People you can't
- Public figures, celebrities, politicians or anyone you don't know personally.
- Anyone who has asked not to be included, or whose photos you don't have the right to use.
- Anyone else's child.
Content we won't make
- Anything sexual, intimate or suggestive — including "jokes". Creating intimate images of a real person without their consent is a criminal offence in the UK and we report it.
- Anything designed to humiliate, harass, threaten or bully the person in it.
- Anything hateful about race, religion, sex, sexuality, disability or similar.
- Anything that shows the person saying or doing things intended to deceive others — fake endorsements, fake confessions, political statements, "proof" of events.
- Anything illegal, violent or dangerous.
What we do if a brief breaks these rules
We refuse it and refund you in full. Serious cases are reported. We may decline any brief we're not comfortable making, and we'll tell you why.
If you're in a video and didn't agree to it
Email memoriagiftai@gmail.com with the details. We'll remove the video and delete the photos, and tell you when it's done.
How the video is made and labelled
Every Memoria video is generated with AI from the photos and details provided and is labelled as AI-generated. It is a gift, not a record of real events, and you agree not to present it as one.
